Arthur, The legendary English king, was the son of Uther Pendragon, and featured in countless poems and stories of chivalry which have captivated audiences for centuries. The French poet and troubadour Chrétien de Troyes authored many tales of Arthur and his knights of Camelot. These 12th-century stories gave birth to the romantic idealogy of chivalry and inspired endless other writers, poets and artists to spin their take on the Knights of The Round Table.
